GEEKS-r-US, INC. is a locally-owned, independent systems integration
firm specializing in networking and accounting/information systems and services
for businesses. The area's oldest Gold Authorized Novell Reseller, and a
fully authorized dealer of numerous other products, Geeks-r-Us, Inc.
has made a commitment to optimal support and service for all of the firm's
product lines.
The principal of Geeks-r-Us, Inc., David Yates, has been involved in the computer industry for over 20 years. As an independent consultant, Mr Yates formed PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES and began offering design and operations services for networks (and NetWare specifically) in 1983. Accounting and Geographic Information Services were also provided to clients. In 1987, Professional Support Services teamed up with local office supply firm FORT MYERS OFFICE SUPPLY, to expand our offerings to a full line of computer hardware, and formed FORT MYERS COMPUTERS. In 1989, the office supply division was spun off, and Mr Yates subsequently purchased FORT MYERS COMPUTERS in its entirety. In 2004, Fort Myers Computers and HAWKnet Internet Services were combined and re-christened GEEKS-r-US, Inc. In addition to system
design, support, and programming services, Geeks-r-Us, Inc. staff
also maintain close contact with the industry through the authoring of
articles and product reviews for publication, and the "beta"
(pre-release) testing of products for firms, including Novell, Inc and
Microsoft Corp. |
